Brand new WAM Booking System for Summer 2

We are in the process of moving to a new booking system, and this migration will be complete by the end of May. We will migrate all your accounts and information from the old site, ready for you to make bookings for Summer term 2.

Early beta testers will soon be invited, to login to the site, and make their very first bookings. This feedback will enable us to work out any bugs and make the site really easy for other parent's at Milverton Primary School

Welcome to WAM

Milverton Primary School offers high‑quality wraparound care both before and after the school day. Places can be booked easily through our online booking system. Our aim is to provide engaging, enjoyable activities that children look forward to, giving parents peace of mind that their child is happy, safe and well cared for beyond the school day.

Children can be booked into either a structured activity club, led by a specialist coach, or Choices Club, where they can relax and take part in self‑selected activities in a calm, supportive environment.

We offer a wide range of clubs in each session for you to choose from. These include sporty clubs, dance, gymnastics, cooking, outdoor and craft clubs, tennis, football, singing, drama, running, radio club, language clubs, movie nights, and our daily 'Choices Club'- which focuses on self‑directed play. During Session 1 (3:25–4:30pm), activities are organised by age group:

  • Infants: Reception, Years 1 & 2
  • Juniors: Years 3, 4, 5 & 6

Our Breakfast Club (7:30–8:55am), Evening Choices Club (4:30–5:45pm) and Late Finish session (5:45–6:00pm) are all age groups together from Reception-Year 6. The only exception is the structured activity club at those times, which remain age‑specific for either infants or juniors.

Information about WAM sessions

    Breakfast club (07:30 - 08:55)

    Breakfast Club drop‑off takes place at the Dining Hall, which can be accessed via the large green metal gates on Greatheed Road. Children can arrive at any time between 7:30am and 8:55am. If your child will be having breakfast with us, please ensure they arrive before 8:30am, as the breakfast station closes at this time. Breakfast Club is infant and junior children together, with the exception of the sports club, which is organised into infant or junior groups.

    After school 1 (15:25 - 16:30)

    Session 1 consists of age‑specific clubs, split into infant or junior groups. Children will be collected directly from their classrooms at the end of the school day. Session 1 finishes at 4:30pm. Collection will be from the playground, accessed through the large green metal gates located in the middle of the playground. We ask that parents wait until the end of the session to collect their child. If early collection is required due to an emergency, please email us in advance so arrangements can be made.

    After school 2 + snack (16:30 - 17:45)

    Snack and Session 2 are infants and juniors together, except for the structured activity club that takes place, which remain split by age group, infants or juniors. Children staying for Session 2 will be taken to the Dining Hall at 4:30pm for their snack, before beginning their evening activity. Snack is a selection of sandwiches, salad, cucumber, carrots, and peppers and a selection of fruit. Collection after Session 2 is at 5:45pm from the Dining Hall, accessed via the large green metal gates on Greatheed Road.

    Late finish (17:45 - 18:00)

    Late Finish is free of charge and collection is at 6:00pm from the Dining Hall, accessed through the large green metal gates on Greatheed Road.

Wrap Around Milverton (WAM)

Milverton Primary School provides wrap around care for both before and after school. Families can book onto this provision through this site. We aim to provide quality activities for the children to enjoy. This will give families the peace of mind that their child is engaged in fun, developmental activities both during and outside the times of the school day.

Parents can book their child into an activity club, where children can enjoy taking part in an activity ran by a specialist coach or a self-directed 'choices club', where children will be able to enjoy self-chosen activities in a relaxed environment. The activities available will be for either Eyfs/Infants (Reception, Year 1 & Year 2) or Juniors (Year 3, 4, 5 & 6)

We work on a first come, first served basis for all our bookings. You can choose to book as a block booking for the whole half term or you can choose to use our ad hoc service and book daily or weekly (please note that all ad hoc sessions are an extra 75p per session) Each half term bookings will go live 1 week before the end of the current half term.

Some of our clubs are very popular and get booked up quite quickly. If you find a club is fully booked, please email [email protected] to be put on to the waiting list for that half term.

If you will be paying for your sessions through childcare vouchers or Tax Free Childcare, these need to be arranged and sent over to us in enough time so we can credit your account with them before we go live. Please contact us for any relevant information you may need regarding childcare vouchers.
